Humanity
We believe that that all people are sinners by nature, daily fall short of God's requirements, and have separated themselves from God.
Romans 3:23 and Ephesians 2:1-3

Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man.  He is our Lord and Savior, who by taking the punishment for our sin in His death and rising again to new life has redeemed us from sin so that we may live in His Kingdom forever.
Colossians 2:9, 1 Timothy 2:5, and 2 Corinthians 5:19

Beliefs

This is what we, as members of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, believe about...

The Bible
We believe that the Bible is God's Word to the world and as such is the final authority for faith and life.
II Timothy 3:15-17

God
We believe in the Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) revealed in Scripture and confessed in the Apostles' Creed, the God who is love.
John 3:16 and Matthew 28:19

You
We believe that God invites you to believe in Jesus as your Savior and to become God's child through Baptism.
Acts 2:38-39 and Acts 16:31

Us
We believe that God has empowered our congregation with "faith that works through love."
1 John 4:10-12 and Galatians 5:6

Baptism
We believe that Baptism offers all people the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38-39

Holy Communion
We believe that the body and blood of Jesus is truly present with the bread and wine and offers the forgiveness of sins.
1 Corinthians 11:23-26, Matthew 26:26-29
