Ministry is...
Here at Mount Calvary, we don't see the word "Ministry" as just a noun, the office held by the pastor and his responsibilities. Rather, we see it as a verb-- a function that we all have as members of the Body of Christ.
Christ tells us to go and do-- go and make disciples; go and baptize; go and teach" (Matt 28:19-20). We can "do" just that, here at Mount Calvary and in our community. There are many ways to get involved using the talents and gifts God has given you. Look around at what Mount Calvary has to offer and get plugged in. If you don't find what you are looking for, maybe we are looking for someone like you to start it up. |
